About the Graphic Designer

ANN McMAN is a nationally recognized, career graphic design professional with more than 35 years of experience. She has won numerous national and international design awards and has worked for a wide variety of clients spanning both nonprofit and public sectors, including The Royal Shakespeare Company, National Public Radio, The Trump Taj Mahal, Sappi Paper International, The Presbyterian Church (USA), Duke University, The University of Pennsylvania (Penn), Davidson College, Guilford College, Bates College, Lambda Literary, Golden Crown Literary Society, Triad Health Project (HIV/AIDS), The Eastern Music Festival, and NHPCO (National Hospice and Palliative Care Organizations).

In recent years, Ann has earned acclaim as a premier designer of book covers for small press, indie and mainstream outlets, and was the inaugural recipient of the Tee Corinne Excellence in Cover Design Award from the Golden Crown Literary Society. She continues to devote many hours to volunteer work within the LGBT community.
